I sometimes shape this like a pinecone and layer with whole almonds during the holidays - it always gets favorable comments.

You can use any dried fruit in place of the Craisins.

Serve with a nice assortment of crackers like Triscuits, Sociables, Ritz or any of your favorites.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

We love a delicious cheese ball recipe during the holiday's and this one is delightful. It's sweet from the pineapple with a bit of tartness from the cranberries. Super creamy, the saltiness from the cheddar cheese balances out the sweetness from the fruit. Pecans with their nuttiness and crunch are perfect. Serve with slices of toasted baguette and you have an impressive and easy party appetizer. Test Kitchen Avatar The Test Kitchen
