This is a cheeseball that Charlotte Jones used to make for us when I worked at Sterlington Memorial Hospital. We never knew what we did to deserve it, but sure did enjoy it.

Ingredients

  • 16 oz
    cream cheese, softened
  • 16 oz
    crushed pineapple, drained
  • 2 Tbsp
    onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 c
    green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 2 c
    pecans, finely chopped
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    lawry's seasoning salt
  • 1 bunch
    green onions, chopped
  • 8 oz
    cheddar cheese, shredded

How to Make Pineapple Cheese Ball

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix the softened cream cheese with the pineapple, onions, bell pepper, 1/2 cup pecans, grated cheese, and seasoning salt.
  2. After mixing, place in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm.
  3. Remove from the refrigerator and roll into a ball.
  4. Cover with remaining pecans. Serve with crackers.
