This is a cheeseball that Charlotte Jones used to make for us when I worked at Sterlington Memorial Hospital. We never knew what we did to deserve it, but sure did enjoy it.

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 16 ounces crushed pineapple, drained
  • 2 tablespoons onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 2 cups pecans, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tablespoon lawry's seasoning salt
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
  • 8 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded

How To Make pineapple cheese ball

  • Step 1
    Mix the softened cream cheese with the pineapple, onions, bell pepper, 1/2 cup pecans, grated cheese, and seasoning salt.
  • Step 2
    After mixing, place in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm.
  • Step 3
    Remove from the refrigerator and roll into a ball.
  • Step 4
    Cover with remaining pecans. Serve with crackers.
