We discovered the yummy goodness when we moved to North Carolina! We eat it often with crackers or make grilled pimento cheese sandwiches or use it in Pimento Cheese Stuffed Chicken. This recipe isn't too spicy because I cannot have much spice due to a health condition I have but I have you can add hot sauce if you like it hot :-)

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 4 ounces pimentos
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • - hot sauce to taste

How To Make pimento cheese

  • Step 1
    Beat together cream cheese and shredded cheese
  • Step 2
    Add rest of the ingredients and mix thoroughly
  • Step 3
    Refrigerate at least one hour
