Recipe was given to me by my step mother, and its been a fav of mine for years. Hope you enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 ounces jar diced pimentos, drained
  • 6 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste

How To Make pimento cheese

  • Step 1
    Grate the cheese by hand. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir lightly to mix.
  • Step 2
    Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Serve with crackers or make a sandwich.
