These are delicious little pepperoni and cheese bites. I make these for the daughters school lunch.. Great for a party or anytime. I also freeze them. You might want to double the batch, they will be gone in no time... Enjoy! My photo's

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 - egg
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 4 ounces pepperoni, diced
  • 2 ounces shredded mozzarella
  • 2 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil or italian seasoning
  • - warmed pizza sauce for dipping

How To Make pepperoni pizza poppers

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Step 2
    In a bowl add the flour and baking powder. Stir in the milk and the beaten egg. Add mozzarella, basil and pepperoni.
  • Step 3
    Spray a 24 count mini muffin pan with cooking spray. ( or two 12 count muffin pans ).
  • Step 4
    Spoon even portions, about 1 teaspoon per muffin cup.
  • Step 5
    Bake for 15 - 20 minutes or until golden. Serve with your favorite pizza sauce or marinara. You can also use whatever cheese you prefer. We like the taste of the cheddar and mozzarella combined.
