Our Favorite Grilled Cheese

This has become our favorite grilled cheese sandwich. Gooey cheese on the inside and crispy and buttery on the outside. Perfect! My husband will typically eat 2-3 of these because they are that good.

serves 1


  •   1 slice
    american cheese
  •   1 slice
    havarti cheese
  •   2 slice
    country french bread (i use koepplingers)
    parmesan cheese

How To Make

  • 1
    Butter one side of each slice of bread. Add the two slices of cheese to make sandwich.

    In the preheated pan (medium heat), while the bottom slice is cooking in the pan, sprinkle parmesan cheese on the top slice.
  • 3
    Cook until both sides are golden brown. Serve with tomato soup.
