"no chicken" dip

I tasted this dip today and yum, yum is it good. I was told it was called "No Chicken dip". of course I had to ask how it got that strange name. Angie ( the contributor of this dip) said that at a party where this was served someone said it was a chicken dip. When Angie tasted it she said there was no chicken in this dip...hence the name. I asked for the recipe and on the note paper where it was written it just was just titled "dip". I feel it should keep the name it was given at the party.

Ingredients
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup pecans
- 1 bunch green onions, sliced or chopped
- - pepper jelly for topping
