This is my version of queso found at a popular mexican restaurant here in Houston... and by now you know how much I LOVE MY CHEESE!!! lol

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds american cheese, not velveeta
- 4 ounces green chiles
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 1/3 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup diced ripe tomatoes
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
How To Make my version of pappasito's queso

Step 1Melt cheese with milk in a double boiler until blended. Add chiles WITH LIQUID, garlic, onion and garlic salt and stir unil blended. Remove from heat and stir in tomatoes before serving.

Step 2Serve with your favorite tortilla chips!
