my favorite baked jalapenos
I have had this recipe for years, and I love the unique method of cooking these jalapenos. The jalapenos are halved and par-boiled before stuffing them and baking them off. It cuts down on the heat and helps to tenderize them a bit.

Ingredients
- 25 medium jalapeno peppers
- 1 package softened cream cheese (8 oz)
- 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese (approx. 12 oz)
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Worchestershire sauce
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
How To Make my favorite baked jalapenos

Step 1Wearing gloves, cut jalapenos in half and de-seed them.

Step 2Cook jalapeno halves in boiling water for 10 minutes, and drain well.

Step 3Combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and Worcestershire sauce - stir and combine well.

Step 4Place 1 heaping tsp of cheese mixture in each pepper half; sprinkle with crumbled bacon.

Step 5Using parchment paper, place each stuffed jalapeno on a baking sheet. Bake at 400 degrees F for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
