The is been a great go to dip for years. It is super easy and can be changed up so easily to suit any taste. I tend to make a large pan of this and if there is plenty left over it makes a great addition to homemade burritos by just adding fajita meat and dip to a soft tortilla and spreading the dip over it and bake.

picante sauce

grated cheddar cheese
8 oz
grated pepper jack cheese
1 bunch
chopped green onions
2 small
diced tomatoes
4 oz
sliced black olives (optional)

How to Make Mexican Layer Dip


  • 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2Layer all ingredients.
  • 3Bake for about 30 minutes.
    Serve with tortilla chips.
    You can add seasoned ground beef or prepared tamales as a layer to make this a heavier snack.
