- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cups monterey jack-colby cheese blend, shredded
- 1 package 3 oz, cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup salsa, chunky
- 1 can 4 oz, chopped green chilies
- - dash hot pepper sauce
- - chips for serving
How To Make mexican cheese dip

Step 1In 1 1/2 quart round microwavable casserole dish, combine onion and butter. Microwave on high for 2-3 minutes or until onion is tender.

Step 2Stir in cornstarch and milk. Microwave at high for 2-3 minutes or until thickened, stirring once.

Step 3Add shredded cheese, cream cheese, salsa, chilies, and hot pepper sauce. Microwave on high for 2-4 minutes, or until cheeses are melted, stirring once to blend thoroughly. Serve with taco chips.
