Mexican Cheese Dip
1/2 cfinely chopped onion
2 cmonterey jack-colby cheese blend, shredded
1 pkg3 oz, cream cheese, softened
1/2 csalsa, chunky
1 can(s)4 oz, chopped green chilies
·dash hot pepper sauce
·chips for serving
How to Make Mexican Cheese Dip
- In 1 1/2 quart round microwavable casserole dish, combine onion and butter. Microwave on high for 2-3 minutes or until onion is tender.
- Stir in cornstarch and milk. Microwave at high for 2-3 minutes or until thickened, stirring once.
- Add shredded cheese, cream cheese, salsa, chilies, and hot pepper sauce. Microwave on high for 2-4 minutes, or until cheeses are melted, stirring once to blend thoroughly. Serve with taco chips.
