Little Reuben Appetizers
A friend gave me this recipe last year and I make them whenever I need to take an appetizer to a dinner.
1 pkgappetizer size deli rye bread
1 cprepared thousand island salad dressing
1/2 lbdeli style corned beef, sliced thin
1 pkgsauerkraut, from deli or canned, well drained
1/2 lbthinly sliced swiss cheese
How to Make Little Reuben Appetizers
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Separate bread slices and spread out on an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Prepare each bread slice by first spreading with Thousand Island dressing, next place a slice or two of corned beef on top of bread, top with a tablespoon of sauerkraut, finally place a square of Swiss cheese on top of everything.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve warm from the oven.
