layered blue cheese spread
A recipe that sounded good, but I altered to my personal taste! I like this with crackers, or those soft bread squares. Heck, cut up plain bagels might work also! Since my Dad loves blue cheese, that drew me to this recipe right away!

Ingredients
- 24 ounces cream cheese, softened (3 packages)
- 4 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
- 1 tablespoon minced cilantro
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon sour cream
- 2 tablespoons minced parsley
- 1 tablespoon minced chives
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper (i omit)
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (i use chopped pecans, i like it better in this recipe)
- - onion flakes or chopped fresh onion to taste (one of my additions)
- - accent if needed (one of my additions)
How To Make layered blue cheese spread

Step 1On serving plate spread 2 packages cream cheese into 8 inch circle. Combine blue cheese, 1/4 c sour cream, parsley, cilantro, chives and pepper until blended. Spread over cream cheese layer to 1/2 inch of edges. Beat remaining cream cheese and sour cream until smooth, spread over blue cheese to 1 inch of edges. Sprinkle with walnuts just before serving. Serve with breads and crackers.
