- - baguette
- - olive oil and butter
- - gorgonzola cheese, mushrooms
- - onions, sugar, salt and pepper to taste
How To Make jo's cheese,mushroom and onion appetizer

Step 1slice bread diagonally 1/4 inch , toast lightly, cool. Take cheese out of frig to reach room temperature.

Step 2put equal amounts of olive oil and butter in pan, melt and sauté thinly sliced onions. After they become translucent and sprinkle a little sugar in and add sliced mushrooms of your choice. ( I used white button )ONLY cook till onions are light brown and mushrooms are soft. cool but at room temperature

Step 3spread some cheese on slices of baguette then top with mushroom and onion mixture.Can serve at room temperature or warm a little in oven.
