Ingredients

  • 2 large
    eggs,beaten
  • 1/4 c
    water
  • 11/2 c
    italian seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    pepper
  • 2/3 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/3 c
    cornstarch
  • ·
    oil for deep frying
  • 1 pkg
    24 count mozzarella cheese sticks

How to Make ITALIAN SEASONED FRIED CHEESE STICKS

Step-by-Step

  1. In a small bowl mix the eggs and water.
  2. Mix the bread crumbs ,salt and pepper in a medium bowl.In a separate medium bowl,blend the flour and cornstarch.
  3. In a large heavy saucepan or deep fryer heat the oil to 365F (185C)
  4. One at a time coat each stick in the flour mixture,then the egg mixture,then in the italian seasoned bread crumbs then put in the oil.
  5. Fry until golden Brown,about 30 seconds.Remove from heat and drain on paper towels.
  6. Let cool for 3-5 minutes.Serve with marinara ,ranch or blue cheese dressing.
    Refridgerate any leftovers.
