5 slices bacon
1 cup grated swiss cheese
2/3 cup chopped ripe olives, drained
1/4 cup finely sliced green onion
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 tsp. salt
8 oz. loaf cocktail rye bread

How to Make Hot Rye Appetizers


  • 1Fry , drain and crumble bacon.
  • 2Mix all ingredients except bread
  • 3Spread a rounded teaspoonful of mixture on each slice of bread. Arrange on ungreased baking sheet.
  • 4Bake at 350 for 10 to 15 minutes or til cheese melts and browns slightly.Makes 25 to 30
