holiday beef ball, jamie's way
This is a recipe found several years ago in a church cook book. I am not sure where or who made this recipe, but here is my way and how I like to design it for my Christmas Eve party.

How To Make holiday beef ball, jamie's way
-
Step 1To make a snowman with this recipe I doubled the recipe. Let the cream cheese come to room temp.
-
Step 2Finely chop the onion, nuts of your choice, I used walnuts, and finely chop the dried beef.
-
Step 3Place the cream cheese in the bowl and add all the ingredients and mix well. Form into two balls for the body and one the size of a head for your snowman. I did roll mine up in nuts too but you can omit that if you prefer to have nuts only on the inside.
-
Step 4Place you balls on a plate then decorate with olives and small pretzels for arms. I used a very small carrot for the nose and I also wrapped a slice of pimento around the neck for a scraf. I found the little hat in a specialty store and glued the little bird on top of hat. Michaels had these items several years ago.
