You will get requests for this spread, and it is so easy to make.
My sister-in-law gave this to me, and I don't know where she got the recipe,but it is savory and timeless.
2 pkg8 oz. size cream cheese, regular not whipped
1 smallcontainer of "whipped cream cheese"
18 oz. container "whipped butter"
2 cloveminced garlic
1/2 tspdried basil
1 tspdill weed
1/2 tspmarjoram, dried
1/4 tspground cloves
1/2 tspchives, dried

- Let cream cheese and butter rest at room temperature for about fifteen minutes,then combine in a bowl.
- Add herbs, and blend together until just mixed. Cover bowl and chill for about an hour before serving. Flavors are better after chilling.
- This is excellent for serving with crackers, toast, or crudit'es, i.e. asparagus,broccoli,celery, green beans, scallions,snow peas or zucchini.
