A lovely brunch starter. I've made this with puff pastry, instead of crescent roll dough, too.Source: Unknown

Unroll crescent roll dough. Press three fourths of the dough into a square on baking sheet. Reserve remaining dough for decorative shapes if desired. Put the Brie in center of square. Slice the Brie horizontally into halves. Sprinkle the raisins, almonds and cinnamon over the bottom half and top with the remaining half cut side down. Pull corners of dough around the Brie, covering round totally. Press lightly to ensure it is totally sealed. Brush dough with the egg. Cut reserved dough into desired shapes using small cookie cutter. Arrange in a decorative pattern over the top of the Brie. Bake using the crescent dough can directions until golden brown. Serve warm with apples and/or your favorite fruit jam. Serves 4 to 6 Note: I make something similar to this, but instead of crescent dough, I use puff pastry.
