I came across a box of old recipes. I got this recipe years ago at a ladies Bible study party. It was so good I had to get the recipe.

How To Make five cheese hors d'ouveres

Note: I made 1/2 a batch on a sheet of parchment paper on top of a cookie sheet. Next time I will line a bread pan with parchment paper, so the dough goes to the sides of the pan. Making a whole batch in a 9x13 will work out just fine. You just kind of need the pan sides the help keep in the cheese.

Unroll 1 package of crescent rolls on a 9x13 pan. Pinch the seams together.
  • 3
Layer the cheeses. Slice the cream cheese and spread over the top. Pour the egg over the cheeses.
  • 4
Top with the other crescent roll, pinching the seams together.

Brush with butter and sprinkle with sesame seeps. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes or until golden. Let it set up for a little bit, then cut and serve. We had it about room temperature.
