My mother-in-law used to make this version of egg salad and it hits the spot. One of my favorites on a sandwich.

Take your egg salad sandwich to another level with this fancy egg salad. There's crunch from finely chopped celery and a nice tang from chopped green olives. With mustard and onion powder, this version has a very refined flavor. Depending on how small the hard-boiled eggs are chopped, this could be served as a delicious tea sandwich, on a roll or bagel, or as a great dip.

Ingredients
- 6 - hard-boiled eggs, cooled, peeled, and chopped
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped fine
- 12 large green olives with pimento, chopped
- 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 teaspoons mustard
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- - Miracle Whip, enough to moisten
- - salt and pepper, to taste
How To Make fancy egg salad

Step 1Mix ingredients until well combined.

Step 2Let sit in the refrigerator for at least an hour to allow the flavors to meld together.

Step 3Serve on bread for a sandwich or serve with crackers as an appetizer.
