When I lived in North Carolina everyone made these with sliced ham and small party rolls. I used pepperoni,ham and chicken with a cheese roll.You may use whatever meat filling you enjoy.

Ingredients For easy sandwich appetizer

1 cbutter,softened

3 Tbsppoppy seeds

1onion,grated
-
1 Tbspworcestershire sauce

2 Tbspprepared dijon style mustard

2-12 ozpackages white party rolls
-
1/2 lbchopped cooked ham,chicken & pepperoni

5 ozswiss cheese
How To Make easy sandwich appetizer

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F

2In a food processor, mix together butter, poppy seeds, onion, Worcestershire sauce and Dijon mustard

3Slice rolls in half horizontally and set aside tops. Spread bottoms with the butter mixture. Top with meat mixtue and Swiss cheese. Replace tops.

4Arrange rolls in a single layer in a medium baking pan.Bake in the preheated oven 10-12 minutes until rolls are lightly browned and cheese is melted.
