My sister inlaw brought a garlic cheeseball to Christmas one year. She got it as a gift and does not like garlic. I picked it apart as I savored it and came up with my own version. Everywhere I take it I get asked for the recipe. I really like it with Wheat thins but you can spread it on any cracker.Every year at Christmas I give one to my neighbors with some sweet treats. My elderly neighbors told me they didn't need the sweets but I could still give them a cheeseball! Enjoy!

Mix together the cream cheese, margarine, garlic and parsley. The measurments of the garlic and parsley are to your liking. If the cloves are big I may only use 1 1/2. Likewise if they are tiny I use more. You will know what you like. I alway try it before I roll it in the nuts so I can see if I have to add more. The parsley is really just to make it look pretty.I just shake it in. I take a spatula and shape it to a ball and put it in the fridge to chill. Put the nuts in a large bowl and roll the ball in it until it is covered to your liking. Grab a cracker and enjoy!

This can be made ahead of time but the nuts do take on a different look. I make them ahead and roll in nuts just before giving them away so they look nice and fresh!
