1set the cream out until it is room temp. shape it to fit you in your serving dish or line a mold with plastic wrap and use it to shape your cream cheese. make sure the dish you choose has sides to contain the berry sauce
2in a saucepan add just enough water ( or a nice dessert wine ) to cover the bottom of the pan. bring the berries to a slow simmer, contiune until the berries pop and the juices thicken. add a teaspoon or two of sugar if the berries are tart.
3pour the warm berries over the cream cheese and serve with assorted crackers.
