When my son, David was in elementary school I used to make this up for school halloween parties... The kids loved it and it became a favorite anytime dip...

Ingredients

1- 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
1-8 ounce sour cream
1 package taco seasoning mix
1-12 ounce cheddar cheese, shredded
1 package tortilla chips

How To Make david's favorite dip

Step 1

Mix all ingredients except the tortilla chips in a bowl.

Step 2

Chill in frig for a couple of hours. Serve with the chips.
Step 3

You may spread in a cake pan and layer cooked ground beef, scallions, tomatoes, lettuce, olives and green pepper.
