I have made this for years, using dried beef or luncheon ham. It is versatile because you can make it with just the cream cheese filling or add pickles, asparagus, or whatever you like, before you roll it up. Always gets rave reviews

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons 1/2 &1/2 cream (may use sour cream, if preferred)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened and cubed
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 slice onion, thin sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • 1 dash pepper

How To Make cream cheese spread

  • Step 1
    In blender, combine 1/2 & 1/2, 4 oz of the cream cheese, and remaining ingredients. Mix until smooth. Add remaining cheese. Mix until smooth. Chill and use on salami, bologna, thin sliced ham luncheon meat, dried beef and roll up.
