cranberry goat cheese spread
Wonderful, easy appetizer recipe for spreading on crackers, Melba toast, cocktail bread, or even raw veggies. Great for Thanksgiving or holiday parties.
Blue Ribbon Recipe
This is a different type of spread recipe if you're a fan of goat cheese. The flavor of the cheese is mellowed out a little by all the other flavors. The tangy vinaigrette is a perfect complement to the goat cheese and cream cheese. Tart cranberries and nutty pine nuts in each bite are little bits of yumminess. At room temperature, the texture is similar to hummus. We tried a few crackers and preferred the Melba toast. A sweeter, buttery cracker is also a great option. It's an unusual appetizer recipe that will be a delicious start to a holiday dinner.

-
Step 2Place toasted pine nuts and all other ingredients into a food processor. Process until mostly smooth.
-
Step 3Place in a pretty serving dish. Serve immediately or refrigerate (which will thicken spread somewhat).
-
