Wonderful, easy appetizer recipe for spreading on crackers, melba toast, cocktail bread, or even raw veggies. Great for Thanksgiving or holiday parties.

1/4 c
pine nuts
4 oz
chevre (soft goat cheese, usually sold in a log shape)
3 Tbsp
plain cream cheese
1/4 c
dried cranberries
3 Tbsp
balsamic binaigrette salad dressing (store bought or homemade)
1/8 tsp
freshly ground black pepper to taste

How to Make Cranberry - Goat Cheese Spread


  • 1TOAST PINE NUTS: Place on a sheet of foil and roast in a toaster oven at 300 deg. F. for about 2 minutes, just til nicely golden brown. Remove.
  • 2Place toasted pine nuts and all other ingredients into a food processor. Process until mostly smooth.
  • 3Place in a pretty serving dish. Serve immediately or refrigerate (which will thicken spread somewhat).
  • 4Serve with crackers, triscuits, slices of cocktail bread, Melba toast, or cut up veggies of our choice.
