- 1 1/2 pounds grated sharp cheddar cheese
- 3 (8} ounces packages cream cheese ,softened
- 1 large onion,finely chopped
- 3 dashes tobasco sauce
- 1 cup finely chopped pecans
- 1 cup strawberry preserves
How To Make christmas cheese mold

Step 1Allow the cheddar cheese and cream cheese to come to room temperature.In a large bowl combine the cheddar cheese,cream cheese, chopped onions, tobasco,and chopped pecans. Work the ingredients together using your hands. Once thoroughly mixed, the mixture can then be pressed into a mold.

Step 2Chill 2 to 3 hours before serving or you can freeze for later use. When you are ready to serve, remove from the mold, place on a platter, and pour the desired amount of strawberry preserves over the top. Also the sides of the cheese mold can be garnished with coarsely chopped pecans gently pressed into its sides.

Step 3Hint: Generally cheeses should be served at room temperature, about 70*, to bring out the flavor.
