Have made this recipe on several occasions. Recently made it for a bridal shower. Everyone raved about how good it was. Easy too!

NOTE: I rolled the cheese ball in graham cracker crumbs instead of nuts because of nut allergies.

  • 8 oz
    cream cheese softened
  • 1 stick
    butter, softened
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 3/4 c
    powdered sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 3/4 c
    semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 c
    finely chopped pecans

How to Make Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball


  1. 1 cup graham cracker crumbs can be used in place of pecans.
  2. In a mixer, beat the cream cheese, butter and vanilla until fluffy.
  3. Gradually add in the sugars. Beat until well combined.
  4. Stir in chocolate chips.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
  6. Shape the mixture into a ball.
  7. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
  8. Roll in pecans or graham cracker crumbs. Serve with graham crackers.
