chinese-style chicken pizza appetizer
This is the finger food that I took to the tailgating get together this weekend. Hadn't made them in a while and had about 6 people request the recipe, the sign of a popular recipe.

Ingredients
- 3 packages crescent rolls
- 3 cups chicken, cooked and shredded
- 5 - green onion tops, sliced
- 1 1/2 pounds cream cheese, room temperature
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder with parsley
- 3 teaspoons hot sauce (i use sriracha)
- 3 cups baby spinach, coarsley chopped
- 3/4 cup red bell pepper, diced
- 1 cup carrot, shredded
- 3/4 cup peanuts, coarsely chopped
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted
- - sweet and sour sauce or duck sauce, optional
- 1/2 cup cilantro, fresh, chopped for garnish

Step 1Preheat oven to 375-degrees. Unroll crescent rolls and piece together on a jelly roll baking sheet. Pinch seams together and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder and sesame seeds. Bake crust for 12-14 minutes, or until crust is lightly browned. Remove from oven and let cool for 15 minutes while you mix the topping.

Step 2In food processor fitted with blade, process green onions until finely minced. Add chicken and pulse until chicken is finely diced. Add cream cheese, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic powder and hot sauce. Process until mixture is smooth and creamy. Spread cream cheese mixture on prepared crust. Top with spinach, carrots, red pepper, peanuts and sesame seeds. Drizzle with sweet and sour sauce. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least two hours. Cut into squares to serve.
