I am the type of person who loves the burnt cheese on the crust of a grilled cheese sammie, so these cheezy crispies really make me my tastebuds dance. LOL

I love serving them with a really delicious soup. Adding the cayenne gives a nice heat to them too. They are super easy to make and fun to eat!

of any type of hard cheese or a little softer works well

I have used mozzarella cheese, romano and have made mixed cheese crispies and they have worked well

How to Make Cheesy Crisps

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees and cook on a non-stick pan or place cheese on parchment paper. Make the crisps however big or small that you want them but place cheese on pan in a small circle and then add a pinch of cayenne or any type of seasoning you like.
  2. Bake for about 10 minutes....start checking at 5 minutes or so. My oven is not working well so it may not take as long as 10 minutes so figure the time according to your oven.
  3. Remove and put them on a paper towel and then serve immediately. They are delish!

I happen to love these with this soup of Rose Mary Mogan's called Briana's Favorite Cream of Asparagus Soup it is now my favorite creamy soup and just divine!
