Ingredients
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme, crushed
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 3/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
- - nonstick cooking spray
How To Make cheesy pecan crackers

Step 1Bring cheese and butter to room temperature. Beat the cheese and butter together with a mixer until combined. Add the thyme and red pepper and beat again until combined.

Step 2Stir in the flour and pecans and mix by hand until combined. Form into a ball.

Step 3Shape into an 8 inch long log and wrap in cling wrap. Refrigerate and chill for approx. 4 hours or until the mixture is nice and firm.

Step 4Using a sharp knife, cut dough into 1/8 inch thick slices. Place on baking sheets coated with cooking spray or place slices on parchment paper.

Step 5Bake at 350 degrees F for approximately 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
