Ingredients For cheesy pecan crackers

1 csharp cheddar cheese, shredded

1/4 cbutter

1/4 tspdried thyme, crushed

1/8 tspcayenne pepper

3/4 call purpose flour

1/2 cfinely chopped pecans

nonstick cooking spray
How To Make cheesy pecan crackers

1Bring cheese and butter to room temperature. Beat the cheese and butter together with a mixer until combined. Add the thyme and red pepper and beat again until combined.

2Stir in the flour and pecans and mix by hand until combined. Form into a ball.

3Shape into an 8 inch long log and wrap in cling wrap. Refrigerate and chill for approx. 4 hours or until the mixture is nice and firm.

4Using a sharp knife, cut dough into 1/8 inch thick slices. Place on baking sheets coated with cooking spray or place slices on parchment paper.

5Bake at 350 degrees F for approximately 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
