2 8 oz pkgcream cheese softened
2 Tbspcooking sherry
1/2 tsponion salt
1/2 tsponion powder
1/2 tspgarlic powder
1 ccheddar cheese, shredded
1 cham, smoked and deli-sliced or beef wafer thin chopped
How to Make Cheeseball
- Combine all ingredients omitting the beef. Roll mixture into a ball and then roll cheese ball in the chopped beef. Wrap the ball in plastic wrap and chill.
- Variations to roll the cheese ball in: nuts, diced black olives, fine chopped parsley, any favorite deli meat, shredded cheese. A thin sliced rough chopped provolone looks rustic with fresh made crackers.
- Chill cheese ball overnight to blend flavors. Serve on a lettuce leaf with crackers, celery , lettuce leaf
- This cheese ball can adapt to a light version with low fat cheeses. Roll the ball in dried herbs and save calories and still look and taste great.
