Tasty little things and great for social hour. One of my beach buddies & I made these for social hour and everyone loved them.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 stick
    butter, softened
  • 1/2 lb
    grated sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 c
    finely chopped green onions
  • 1/2 tsp
    worchestershire
  • 1 tsp
    dijon mustard (or whatever you like)
  • 3/4 c
    self-rising flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    sea salt

How to Make Cheese Waffers

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix all ingredients together & form into a roll (about 1 1/2" in diameter). Chill for at least 1 hour.
  2. Preheat oven to 450. Slice into 1/3" slices & place onto (foil-lined & lightly sprayed) cookie sheet.
  3. Bake @ 450 for 12 - 15 minutes. Serve warm if possible.
