Many years ago, someone in the family collected recipes from descendants of my great grandparents, William M. and Florence E (Snodgrass) Whaley and had them compiled into a cookbook. I am posting those recipes here so that they will not be lost. This recipe was submitted by David Schomp

Ingredients
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 1 pound velveeta cheese
- 1 pound cheddar cheese
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- - chili powder
How To Make cheese log roll

Step 1Grate cheddar and Velveeta cheeses; add cream cheese and mix well.

Step 2Add finely minced garlic and pecans. Mix well.

Step 3Sprinkle chili powder on plastic wrap or wax paper (do NOT use aluminum foil). Roll cheese into logs and wrap in plastic wrap.

Step 4Refrigerate for several days before serving.
