This is like a cheesy pull apart bread.

Ingredients

  • 1 round sourdough bread
  • 1 pound Monterey Jack cheese, sliced
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery salt

How To Make cheese bread

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Cut the sourdough bread into 1-inch slices, but not through the bottom. Cut the sourdough in one direction, then the other direction. Insert the cheese into the cuts.
  • Step 2
    Mix the remaining ingredients together and pour over the whole load.
  • Step 3
    Wrap in foil and bake for about 30 minutes. Open the foil for the last 10 minutes to brown the bread.
