I line baking sheets with parchment paper to reduce burning and sticking. For a bit more spice, add more cayenne pepper to taste. Watch biscuits during baking and remove when slightly browned for a chewy biscuit. Biscuits will keep for 2 weeks or more in an airtight container.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 pound butter
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups rice krispies

How To Make cheese biscuits

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grate cheese and blend with butter. Add salt, cayenne pepper, flour, and Rice Krispies. Drop from teaspoon into small bite-size pieces and flatten with a fork. Dough will be stiff. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes.
