this is a recipe that I've been playing around with for a long time. You can thin it for a spread or leave it thick for a formed cheese ball. it's great on crackers, bread, on a steak or in a potato...very versatile. Try it!!!

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces cream cheese
  • 8 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded, mild
  • 12 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup onion, white, chopped/minced fine
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 4 dashes tobasco sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups olives, chopped fine. green, with pimento.
  • - milk, if thinning desired

How To Make cheese ball/spread

  • Step 1
In large bowl combine cream cheese, minced onion, minced garlic, tobacco and Worcestershire until blended well.
  • Step 2
    Add Cheddar cheese and olives.
  • Step 3
Fold in Blue cheese last so as to not smooth the crumbles too much.
  • Step 4
If you want a spread and this consistency is not what you desire, add a little milk until your desired thinness is reached.
  • Step 5
Spoon into bowl or container of your choice. form into a ball if you like that presentation better. I've used crushed nuts on the outside and it is good. If in a bowl you can thinly slice olives and put a layer of shredded cheddar then olives on top. it is a pretty presentation.
  • Step 6
    Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • Step 7
    Enjoy!!!
