Many years ago, someone in the family collected recipes from descendants of my great grandparents, William M. and Florence E. (Snodgrass) Whaley and had them compiled into a cookbook. I am posting those recipes here so that they will not be lost. This recipe was submitted by my Great Aunt Effie.

Ingredients
- 16 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 1/2 cup crushed pineapple, drained
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- 1/4 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
- 1 tablespoon seasoned salt
How To Make cheese ball

Step 1After cream cheese has warmed to room temperature, beat it until it is smooth.

Step 2Add drained pineapple, nuts, bell pepper and seasoned salt. Mix well.

Step 3Shape into a ball. Refrigerate 2 to 3 hours. Serve with crackers.
