One of the parties I remember Mom hosting was a fondue party. This was one of her offerings at that party. It is cheesy, yummy, and tons of fun!

Ingredients
- 1 clove garlic, halved
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 12 ounces swiss cheese
- 12 ounces sharp cheddar cheese
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 3/4 cup beer
- dash hot pepper sauce
- 1 - loaf crusty bread, cubed
How To Make cheddar cheese fondue, mom

Step 1Rub the inside of a saucepan with garlic, then discard. Add milk, heat to scalding. Shred cheeses and toss with flour. Gradually add to milk, stirring constantly, until thickened and melted. Blend in beer and hot pepper sauce, heat but do NOT boil. Serve in fondue pot with bread cubes. Dip with skewers.
