this came out of Stevens Family Cookbook it is my older sis recipe she makes it every yr and gives it as x-mas gifts

  • 3 lb
    block of velveeta cheese
  • 1 1/2 c
    mayonaise[only use mayo]
  • 8-12 oz
  • 1/3 c
    hot sauce[sis used tabasco]

How to Make Cathy"s Bar Cheese


  1. melt cheese in lg pan over low heat[cube cheese before puttin in pan]
  2. add rest of ingrredients blend well
  3. put in pint jars put in back of fridge will last at least 4 months
  4. serve this with crackers or your fav veggies[my fav is on broccoli]
