Ingredients
- 1 loaf - french bread
- 10 - 12 slices mozzarella cheese
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 - 1 cups mayonnaise
- 1 package lipton onion soup mix
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 pound thick sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 - 1 cups green or red bell pepper ( i used closer to 1 cup )
- 1/2 - 1 cups onion, chopped ( i used close to 1 cup )
- few pinch parsley flakes
- 2 - 3 tablespoons butter, softened
How To Make cassies best loaded french bread

Step 1Preheat oven to 300 degree F. Cut the loaf of French bread lengthwise. Butter bread lightly.

Step 2Mix cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, onion soup mix and mayonnaise, with an electric mixer, until smooth.

Step 3Spread onto the loaf of bread thickly. Sprinkle with crumbled bacon.

Step 4Next, the peppers and onions.

Step 5Top evenly with the sliced cheese. Sprinkle with parsley flakes.

Step 6Bake 40 - 45 minutes or until bread is crunchy and cheese is bubbly. I added some hot pepper flakes to mine...yum!
