WE LOVED THIS PIZZA ANYTIME BUT LIKE TO CUT IT IN SMALL SQUARES FOR APPETIZERS. I WOULD DOUBLE THIS RECIPE FOR NEW YEARS EVE WITH THE FAMILY SITTING AROUND THE FIRE.

    chopped green chiles, drained

How to Make CAROL'S MEXICAN PIZZA

Step-by-Step

  1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 425 DEGREES
  2. AFTER DRAINING THE COOKED HAMBURGER, SPRINKLE AND STIR IN THE TACO SEASONING; SET ASIDE.
  3. GREASE A 9X13 BAKING DISH; SPRINKLE WITH THE CORNMEAL.
  4. PRESS DOUGH OUT INTO THE PREPARED PAN.
[IT'S MUCH EASIER TO PRESS A PILLSBURY DOUGH IN A 9X13,THEN TRYING TO FIT IT ON A ROUND PIZZA PAN].
  5. SPREAD TACO SAUCE WITHIN 1 INCH OF EDGE.
  6. SPRINKE WITH 1/2 OF MEXICAN AND CHEDDAR CHEESES.
  7. TOP IN ORDER: THE HAMBURG, ONIONS, BLACK OLIVES AND CHILES.
  8. SPRINKLE ON THE REMAINING CHEESES.
  9. BAKE FOR 17-22 MINUTES OR UNTIL CRUST IS GOLDEN BROWN.
  10. CUT INTO APPETIZERS OR SERVING PIECES.... ENJOY
  11. NOTE: THO NOT MEXICAN, I ALSO LIKE TO ADD A CAN OF SLICED MUSHROOMS [4 OZ], DRAINED.
    ALSO EXTRA CHEESE AT TIMES.
