cardinal cheese log

Historic recipe from the farmhouse. I am not sure of origins or how old these recipes are. It looked like many generations added recipes to the wall as the years passed by. I enjoy them all non the less. This cheese log is called the Cardinal cheese log because of the color of the finished product, I am guessing. There may be some other meaning for the name but anyway the recipes will live on.
