Ingredients

  • 1/4 teaspoon instant coffee granules
  • 1 tablespoon hot water
  • 8 ounces pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons sour crean
  • 2 tablespoons brandy
  • 2 ounces pkg. slivered almonds, toasted and chopped

How To Make brandied cheese spread

  • Step 1
    Dissolve coffee granules in hot water, in a large mixing bowl. Add cream cheese and next 3 ingredients, beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until blended. Stir in almonds. Spoon mixture into an airtight container and refrigerate up to 1 week. Makes 1 1/2 cups. Serve with gingersnaps or sliced apples.
