8 ozcream cheese
2 Tbspbutter, unsalted
2 tspdill, dried
1/2 tspgarlic powder
1/2 tsppeppercorns, tricolored fresh ground
1/4 tsppaprika, sweet mild
·dried ground rosemary, to taste
·salt to taste
How to Make Boursin Cheese
- Bring cream cheese and butter to room temperature.
Beat together with electric mixer on low, until thoroughly mixed.
- Add herbs and spices, one at a time mix well after each addition (except for salt).
Test flavor of spread, then add salt a pinch at a time.
- Chill, serve with favorite delivery system. My family prefers french baguette slices.
- The seasonings can be changed easily: use herb de provence, or salt free greek seasoning, or salt free creole seasoning, or fajita seasoning, or...whatever your favorite flavors are.
