boursin cheese spread

Wonderful addition to crackers. The store bought is so limited in it's flavors and a bit on the expensive side. I like to mix up the herbs so the boursin is a bit different each time that I make it. Boursin is great on baked potatoes for a change in topping from sour cream.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, room temperature
  • 2-8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed or 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano, dried
  • 1/4 teaspoon basil
  • 4 1/4 teaspoons thyme, dried
  • 1/4 teaspoon marjoram
  • 1/4 teaspoon dill weed
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
  • - variety of crackers

How To Make boursin cheese spread

  • Step 1
    Blend cream cheese and butter until smooth.
  • Step 2
    Add herb and mix well. Chill overnight.
  • Step 3
    Serve at room temperature with crackers.
