Great appetizer before dinner,or as a snack with a nice glass of Red Wine. This recipe was in a cook book of mine. I had written down. It is really a great appetizer. Enjoy!

Ingredients For blt foccaccia bread

1loaf of foccacia bread

2 Tbspmayonaise
-
2 tspdijon mustard
-
1/4 tspblack pepper

1 1/2 cchopped romano tomatoes

1/2 lbcooked crispy bacon

1 1/2 cmozzarella cheese
-
1/3 cchopped scallions( green onion)

1 cfinely shredded romaine lettuse
-
1/4 colive oil
-
1 Tbspbasil
-
1 tspgarlic salt
How To Make blt foccaccia bread

1heat oven to 350 degree's

2cut up Foccacia bread in to slices.Chop tomatoes and put in a bowl . Toss tomatoes in salt,pepper,and scallions.

3put bread slices on a cookie sheet. Baste them with the olive oil. If you need more oil feel free to use more for top of bread slices.

4combine mayonnaise mustard,pepper,garlic salt in a bowl. Spread on top of bread.Top with the tomatoes,bacon and half of cheese.

5bake for about 20 minutes or until hot. add the rest of the cheese to the top and take out of oven when melted.Top with the shredded Romaine,and serve.
