This is a staple for our family gatherings during holidays for breakfast, snacks, and also great to make for potlucks or The Big Game. Easy to whip together, and always goes quickly! I use the hot sausage, but you can substitute one or both packages for the traditional version if you like.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds hot jimmy dean sausage (uncooked) (2 pkg)
  • 1 1/2 cups bisquick biscuit mix
  • 16 ounces shredded chedder cheese
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped celery
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

How To Make best ever sausage cheese balls

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Step 2
    Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl.
  • Step 3
    Shape into 1 inch balls and place on cookie sheets.
  • Step 4
    Bake for 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees F.
  • Step 5
    (You can freeze these ahead uncooked. If frozen, thaw for 15 minutes before baking.)
