This is a staple for our family gatherings during holidays for breakfast, snacks, and also great to make for potlucks or The Big Game. Easy to whip together, and always goes quickly! I use the hot sausage, but you can substitute one or both packages for the traditional version if you like.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb
    hot jimmy dean sausage (uncooked) (2 pkg)
  • 1 1/2 c
    bisquick biscuit mix
  • 16 oz
    shredded chedder cheese
  • 1/2 c
    finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 c
    finely chopped celery
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder

How to Make Best Ever Sausage Cheese Balls

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl.
  3. Shape into 1 inch balls and place on cookie sheets.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees F.
  5. (You can freeze these ahead uncooked. If frozen, thaw for 15 minutes before baking.)
