baked jalepeno poppers

I made this up for a get together of my husband's co-workers. They ate up one pan before I could get the second one done! Needless to say, they're a regular at our functions now! Oh and don't be put off because of the jalepenos, this isn't very spicy at all. The cream cheese balances it out.

Ingredients

  • 20 - jalepenos
  • 1 pkg - cream cheese
  • 1 lb - bacon

How To Make baked jalepeno poppers

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 400. Cover baking sheet in aluminum foil for easy cleanun.
  • Step 2
    Cut stem off jalepenos. Cut jalepenos in half & remove seeds.
  • Step 3
    Spread cream cheese in jalepeno halves.
  • Step 4
    Cut bacon slices in half and wrap each jalepeno half with piece of bacon.
  • Step 5
    Place jalepenos on aluminum foil covered baking sheet. Bake 15-20 minutes or until bacon is crisp & cream cheese is slightly browned.
